• Keep pace with the group ahead at all times

 

• Play ready golf –  prepare for your shot and select clubs while others are hitting – take several clubs and the sand bottle when walking from the cart on a cart path hole to speed up play

 

• Putt out when practical

 

• Pick up if you’re beyond contributing to the team score

 

• Mark scores and bag clubs at the next tee

 

• Repair ballmarks on the greens and fill divots in the fairways  (sand only in Bermuda grass – seed mix in Rye in the winter months)

 

• Keep all four tires on the path when using the cart path – protect the turf next to the path

 

• Be aware of course conditions – avoid wet spots, ground under repair or worn areas on the course
